"Little Smiles Wins Her First Race"

"Little Smiles" - Nicknamed "Lily”. Owner: Take Five Stable (Michael and Ken Kopp); Jockey: David Cardoso; Trainer: Emanuel Tortora. “Little Smiles” ran her debut performance at Calder Race Course in July 2007. In cooperation with Mr. Michael Kopp, local business philanthropist from Payment Alliance, and in conjunction with his Dad, Ken, he named his horse after the charity and has graciously donated a portion of her earnings to "Little Smiles", the foundation. Local renowned artist has lots of heart Sal Principe once again donates one of a kind piece for sick children (2006)
West Palm Beach, Florida, April 28, 2006 –Locally and internationally renowned artist, Sal Principe, following in his tradition of spreading love and inspiration has graciously donated a one of a kind “heart” painting to the Little Smiles Charity Auction on May 6th. This year’s auction coupled with the annual golf tournament, will contribute to a benchmark year in the organization’s efforts to crate smiles for sick and disadvantaged children of South Florida.
Principe, owner of The Heart of Delray gallery is well known for his creations of hearts, each different, with a different meaning for everyone. Sal Principe’s art is so coveted; it is sought after by the likes of Donald Trump, Adam Sandler and Gwen Stefani. He will be donating an original Salvatore Principe Acrylic on canvas, 30 x 40 Titled “Passion" 2006, Valued at $2,500
Principe’s heart creation will be showcased as a signature live auction item at the May 6th Auction and Cocktail Reception at Gatsby’s Palm Beach. This event is a pre cursor to the Little Smiles Charity Golf Classic held on May 8th at Bear Lakes Country Club. This year’s Charity Golf Classic is presented by Chili’s Restaurants and sponsored by Burman, Critton, Luttier & Coleman, and L.L.P.
Tickets to the event as well as golf tournament foursomes can be purchased through the Little Smiles Organization.
Little Smiles is a 501(c)(3) organization that responds to the needs of children in local hospitals, hospices and shelters by providing them with unique goods and services such as toys, games, videos, special events, limousine transportation and sporting/concert event tickets.
